“Barkerville” is a small show/breeding kennel specifically focused on the Standard Smooth and Longhaired varieties. It is our goal to “build a better Dachshund” utilizing the breed standard of perfection as a basis for envisioning what the ideal Dachshund should be, striving to improve conformation, while at the same time maintaining high quality breed type and correct temperament.

 

We raise and socialize our dogs in our home, not a kennel. All puppies are lovingly raised in the busy kitchen atmosphere. Puppies that are not kept for show and breeding purposes are offered to qualified pet homes on a spay/neuter contract. All puppies come with a health and satisfaction guarentee.
